Hex Solitaire is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store (iPhone, iPad and Mac). All six games play today; it is in internal testing and there is no date yet. The playtest list hears about it first.

The rules are the ones you learned. Only the deck is new: seventy-two cards, Ace, 2 to 9, Jack, Queen and King, in six suits -- the six factions of the Haunted Space Hotel: the Deep, Stem, Hex, Dread, Honored and Seed. Every card is still plainly red or black.
Cards you can read
Each corner shows one large character, so the numbers are big. Six suits, each with its own picture, and a red or black edge on every card. Prefer colour? Turn on six-colour cards in the settings.
Easy on the hands
Tap a card and it goes to the best place; tap again for the next one. Dragging works too. Undo is free and never runs out. HINT shows a good move. Cards that are safe to send home go home by themselves, and when the game is as good as won it finishes itself.
Show me how
Every game has a lesson that plays a real deal with you, one move at a time, and says in plain words why each move is allowed.
Honest
When there are no moves left, the game says so and offers UNDO or a new deal. There is no clock unless you want one.
The Hotel's own art
The suits are the factions' icons, the court cards carry their characters, and the skies of the Hotel sit behind the table. All of it is by Drew, the studio's artist.
Hold it either way
Portrait or landscape, phone or tablet. A left-handed layout. Your game is saved after every move and is there when you come back, and it works with no internet at all.
